I enjoyed it and will check out the next entry for sure! Thanks for making this a free comic so I was able to find it easily on my first trip to the comic book store! Is it all in Hilda's imagination? Maybe only certain people can see these creatures? There wasn't much introduction or explanation, but it didn't take away from the fun spunky character Hilda and her fun adventures. I was a little lost with what was going on. I got this on Free Comic Book Day 2016 and I thought it was really fun! Twig is especially adorable. It was like a Hiyao Miyazaki short that featured sports. So she is taken to another, magical dimension to "Train." I'm not interested in sports and the artwork wasn't doing anything for me. The second teaser is for Fantasy Sports by Sam Bosma, in which a baseball player little girl named Wiz is "too strong" causing meteors with her home run. While I enjoyed reading a comic in which everyone was black, the plot was boring and the art was terrible. There's also a teaser for Akissi by Abouet Sapin, which takes place in Africa and also features children. It reminds me a bit of Gravity Falls or something. It's cute and child-friendly, appropriate for all ages. There are trolls who are stone during the day and alive at night, there's a wall that allegedly the trolls can't cross, there's tiny little people. It's about a little blue-haired girl named Hilda who has a deer-fox as a pet and she saves magical creatures from other, more dangerous magical creatures. This is a weird comic with a European fairy tale feel to it.

It's cute and child-f HILDA: "I don't have a problem with a pie that's too full."
